Multiple fire departments have been called in to help after a reported fire overnight.
Kent County dispatchers say they were called around 3 a.m on a report of a structure fire in the 3700 block of Fallasburg Park Drive NE north of Lowell.
Two people who are neighbors to the structure were hospitalized due to smoke inhalation. No one was inside the home at the time of the explosion.
Surveillance video from a neighbor who lives about seven miles away from the home caught the reported explosion lighting up the sky just before 3 a.m.
Neighbors say they were awakened to a loud boom. Our crew on scene says the structure is completely leveled as firefighters continue to investigate.
