A local police officer has officially started his retirement after giving a final call at the end of his last shift on Sunday.
Jackson Police Officer Dave Renteria served 25-years on the force.
In his final call to dispatch Sunday, Officer Renteria expressed his gratitude for his colleagues and to the people of Jackson while fighting back tears.
FOX 47 would like to wish Officer Renteria happy retirement and thank him for his years of dedicated service.
