Maureen Mitchell to Present at Olivet College Cultivating Women Leaders Speaker Series Jan. 15

LANSING, Mich. — Maureen Mitchell, regional vice president for the Meijer Central Region, will present on managing and resolving conflict at Olivet College on Jan. 15, 2020, 1-2 p.m., as part of the Cultivating Women Leaders Speaker Series. The topic of her presentation is managing and resolving conflict. The series is a program of the Olivet College Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) and is aimed at personal and professional development for high school and college students. The event is free.

The series is open to all high school students, parents, teachers, counselors or other administrators, as well as the Olivet College community. The presentation will be held in Klock Commons inside Dole Hall at Olivet College, 320 S. Main St., Olivet, Michigan. Registration is available at www.olivetcollege.edu/cwl.

Maureen Mitchell
Mitchell oversees store operations, pharmacy operations, gas stations, asset protection, human resources and merchandising in a region of 41 stores. With Mitchell’s leadership and direction, the Meijer Central Region has built a culture of leadership focused on people. Mitchell also leads the Women at Meijer Team Member Resource Group for Retail. She serves as a role model and mentor within her region and to all women in retail. She works with mentees and other mentors to establish clear goals and ensures that she recognizes success on milestone achievements along the journey.
