I’m your state capitol reporter Alonna Johnson.
I am thrilled to be in Lansing, and I'm excited to show how the important stories that are coming out of the Capitol impact the people in our neighborhoods.
I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio born and raised. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati, double majoring in Media Production with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and Philosophy.
During my studies at Cincinnati, I worked with my student media group, Bearcast Media and our student newscast to tell the stories of my fellow bearcats.
I appreciate getting the opportunity to tell the stories of Mid-Michigan and I can’t wait to connect with people in our neighborhoods to do so.
