Eminem will be an honorary captain for the Detroit Lions when they kick off the season on Monday Night Football.

The Detroit Lions made the announcement Thursday night. He will be with the team captains on the field during the coin toss.

The Detroit Lions will take on the New York Jets at Ford Field for the home opener on Monday.
