LANSING, Mich. — There's a living history component to Thursday's Black History Month celebration at Lansing Community College.
LCC hosted a discussion on college Professor and Philosopher Cornel West.
West is a left-wing political activist who focuses on race, gender, and class in American society.
Thursday's discussion looked at his philosophy in regard to the Black Migration that saw 5 million people move from the South to the North between 1916 and 1970.
