LANSING, Mich. — Hillsdale Hospital patients will now be served by University of Toledo orthopedic providers at Hillsdale Hospital Orthopedics in a new agreement announced.
“Our affiliation with the University of Toledo Orthopaedics will provide neck-to-toe orthopedic care, including specialties like hand, spine and pediatric orthopedics,” JJ Hodshire, VP and chief operating officer, said. “Our patients will enjoy more access to high quality orthopedic care with Hillsdale Hospital as this partnership adds highly-skilled providers from a nationally-recognized orthopedics group to our team. This means more patients can get the care they need sooner.”
University of Toledo Orthopaedics surgeons now practicing with Hillsdale Hospital include:
· Osama Elattar, MD, specializing in foot, ankle, knee, and shoulder surgeries
· Maged Hanna, MD, specializing in pediatric orthopaedics, hip dyspepsia, pediatric foot and knee deformities, pediatric trauma, scoliosis, and primary hip and knee replacement
· Vithal B. Shendge, MD, specializing in adult reconstruction, hip and knee primary and revision arthroplasty, should arthroplasty, general orthopaedic trauma, deformity corrections and treatment of nonunion/mal-union.
“Hillsdale Hospital continues to deliver high quality care patients can trust through local providers and strategic partnerships that bring additional specialties and expertise to our community,” Hodshire said.
University of Toledo Orthopaedics surgeons are already serving patients in Hillsdale, and two additional providers will begin in September.
