GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Even though Santa has a big night Christmas Eve, he's spending Christmas week making sure he sees every good little girl and boy.
The video above shows videos and pictures of Santa and Mrs, Claus virtually visiting children at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The virtual visits were child-life specialist at Helen DeVos, Molly Gering's idea.
Gering came up with the idea as Santa and Mrs. Claus have been coming to the hospital every holiday season for 8 years, but couldn't this year due to the pandemic.
Gering says these virtually visits have been filling their patients with joy.
