LANSING, Mich. — Saturday, November 30, 2019 the Lansing Makers Network (LMN) will host a “How to Holiday” Make & Take event. With the holidays fast approaching and the gift giving season upon us, participants will try their hand at making a variety of unique custom gifts and crafts. Make and Take projects include blacksmithing, custom jewelry, laser cutting, pewter casting, soldering, handwoven crafts, etc. In addition to showcasing the Make and Take projects, LMN members will demo equipment including 3-D printers, laser cutters, wood lathes, and more. “How to Holiday” will also include an onsite market of local artisans selling their uniquely crafted items.
This community event will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from noon – 6:00 p.m. at the Lansing Makers Network located at 2400 W. St. Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917 (between MLK Blvd. and Waverly Rd).
LMN welcomes adults and supervised minors to participate.
Tickets can be purchased in advance and at the door. Presale is $15 per Make & Take project. At the door sales are $20 per Make & Take project. Participants are welcome to complete as many projects as they wish but must purchase a separate ticket for each project. All projects are planned so that they can be completed in an hour or less.
