There have been four more cases of measles confirmed in Oakland County, health officials said Thursday.
This news comes more than a week after the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Oakland County Health Division announced that there was a travel-related case of the measles, and several metro Detroit locations had possibly been exposed to the virus.
Health officials will update www.oakgov.com/health as more cases are confirmed. The Health Division will also host a special measles vaccination clinic, which is open to the public on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Oakland Health Center, 27725 Greenfield Road in Southfield.
