Former President Barack Obama will be in Michigan on Friday to rally for Democratic candidates in the midterm elections, sources tell 7 Action News.
According to our sources, it's not clear where the rally will take place, but the Detroit News is reporting it will be in Detroit.
Obama has endorsed several Michigan Democratic candidates, including Gretchen Whitmer for governor, Garlin Gilchrist II as Lt. Governor, Elissa Slotkin and Haley Stevens for Congress and a list of those running for state representative and state senate.
President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have endorsed her opponent, current Attorney General Bill Schuette, who is running with Lisa Posthumus Lyons.
Last week, Donald Trump, Jr. and Kid Rock rallied for Republican Senate Candidate John James, who is taking on the incumbent Debbie Stabenow.
