Ferris State University will hold its December 2020 commencement ceremonies virtually because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, officials announced Monday.

The decision was made based on recommendations from the CDC and state guidelines.

The ceremonies are planned for Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

They will feature music and recorded messages from the Board of Trustees, the provost, the academic college deans and select alumni.

More details for ordering caps and gowns, diploma frames, alumni pins and more will be made public in November.
