LANSING, Mich. — There are 115,870 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan and 6,653 deaths, the state reported Saturday.
That's up 483 cases and 15 deaths from the day before. However, the state says 12 of the deaths announced Saturday were identified during a Vital Records review.
Overall, 90,216 have recovered from the virus, as of Sept. 18.
On Wednesday, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun said overall the state is at a rate of 57 cases per million, and test positivity rate is 3.7 percent.
She also said the Detroit, Saginaw, and Traverse City regions have declining case rates. However, in Detroit, test positivity is increasing.
