Michigan reports 8,080 new cases of COVID-19, 103 deaths

LANSING, Mich. — There are 350,021 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 9,036 total deaths in Michigan, the state reported Saturday.

That's up 8,080 cases and 103 deaths from the day before. The state says 70 deaths announced Saturday were identified during a Vital Records review.

As of Nov. 25, 165,269 people have recovered from the virus.

Additionally, there are 28,131 probable cases and 431 probable deaths.

Michigan also has around 180,700 active cases of the virus, the most since the pandemic began. The number of active cases has risen steadily over the past month. On Oct. 27, there were 42,100 active cases of COVID-19.
