LANSING, Mich. — There are now 114,692 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,632 total deaths in Michigan, the state reported Thursday.
That's an increase of 829 cases and 9 deaths since Wednesday. However, 5 of those deaths were identified during a Vital Records review.
On Wednesday, Dr. Joneigh Khaldun said overall the state is at a rate of 57 cases per million, and test positivity rate is 3.7 percent.
She also said the Detroit, Saginaw, and Traverse City regions have declining case rates. However, in Detroit, test positivity is increasing.
