State reports 799 new cases, 21 more COVID-19 deaths in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. — The total number of coronavirus cases in Michigan now stands at 101,478, the state reported Saturday.

This comes just after the state passed the 100,000 mark Friday.

Additionally, there have been 6,467 COVID-19 deaths total, as of Saturday afternoon.

That's up 799 cases from the day before and 21 deaths.

As of Aug. 28, a cumulative total of 76,151 have recovered from the virus in the state.
