The Michigan Lottery has played a big role in funding education in our state, which is why it has teamed up with FOX 47 News to recognize excellent educators state-wide.
K. Mark Kuizenga, a teacher with the Bay City Central High is this week's Michigan Lottery Excellence in Education award winner. His nominator says, I nominated you because you are a dedicated and truly deserving educator that makes a difference for the students at Central High School everyday. This is why she is this week's excellence in education award winner.
K. Mark was recognized with a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery and his school will receive a $500 grant!
