LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Lottery has played a big role in funding education in our state, which is why it has teamed up with FOX 47 News to recognize excellent educators state-wide.
Marsha Reid, a teacher at Novi High School is this week's Michigan Lottery Excellence in Education award winner. In her nomination video, Teresa Hardy says, "Once you become a student of Mrs. Reid you are always a student of Mrs. Reid and I really admire that about her."
Marsha responded, "When they realize that they have the ability to do it, the belief that they are building in themselves is huge!"
Marsha was recognized with a $1,500 check from the Michigan Lottery and her school will receive a $500 grant!
