The FBI and Michigan State Police spent hours raiding a home in Hartland Wednesday night, continuing into the early morning hours.

It happened on Lansing Avenue in Hartland Meadows near M-59 in Livingston County.

Right now, the neighborhood appears to be back to normal. But the FBI told 7 Action News they executed a search warrant on a home in the area.

We're expecting to learn more about what or who agents were looking for in the search. The neighborhood was lit up as agents went in and out of the home for hours.

Several MSP vehicles, including their SWAT team, were also on scene alongside FBI agents. A 7 Action News crew also saw some law enforcement dressed in camo gear carrying guns.

An FBI spokesperson says more information regarding the raid will be released Thursday morning.
