UPDATE: Gabriella Vitale has been found alive, per Michigan State Police.

Police tell us she was found just 1/4 to 1/2 a mile away from the campground she went missing from. We're told she walked up to a porch and the people who were at the house knew she was missing and called police right away.

------------

Police and family have been combing a campsite in Oscoda County for a missing 2-year-old girl from the Monroe Area.

7 Action News has a crew on the way up north to cover the search for Gabriella. We'll have live reports tonight on 7 Action News at 4, 5 and 6.

The search for Gabriella Vitale is concentrated in a wooded area near M-33 on Reber Road in Comins Township. Vitale's family called police around 8:15 a.m. Monday. They told authorities they had been camping for the past week and were preparing to leave this morning when they lost track of the toddler.

Since that time, Oscoda deputies and Michigan State Police troopers, including canine teams and Trooper 3 (MSP helicopter), and DNR Officers have been searching the area. A command post has also been set up.

She was last seen wearing a pink zip-up coat and pink bottoms. She is believed to be wearing tennis shoes and to have a gray shirt under the jacket. Searchers have found the pink coat, but there is still no sign of Gabriella.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oscoda Central Dispatch Center at 989-826- 3214 immediately.
