EAST LANSING, Mich. — People at the MSU Pavilion Saturday got the chance to see some really big rabbits.
The annual State 4-H Rabbit and Cavy Show is the biggest of its kind in the Midwest.
Participants ages eight to 19 showed off their furry friends. There were also judged shows for specific breeds, a guinea pig show and a scholarship was given.
"My favorite part about being here is just making new friends and really just having a fun time with new people and doing something that everyone loves to do," said participant Joel Carpenter, in his 14th year and the sixth generation in my family to raise rabbits.
