The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin is reportedly fighting for her life.
It is reported that her family has confirmed Aretha is gravely ill in a hospital in Detroit.
Known for her many hits such as "Respect" and "Natural Woman" the singer won 18 Grammy awards throughout her career as well as three-Lifetime Achievement Awards.
In 2017 she said it would be her last year performing and then canceled several appearances citing " doctors orders."
Her last public performance was at Philadelphia's Mann Center a year ago.
She denied reports she was battling pancreatic cancer in 2011.
