With his high school government teacher by his side today Michigan U.S. Congressman Mike Bishop filed for re-election.
Mr. Bishop, whose district includes Ingham county, turned in 19- hundred petitions at the Secretary of State building.
Congressman Bishop says he's kept his friendship with Rochester Adams High School civics teacher Greg Clevenger, throughout his poltical career.
Two candidates, looking to challenge congressman bishop this fall, democrats Elissa Slotkin and Chris Smith.
