The Lansing Board of Water and Light began conducting water line replacement in Downtown on South Washington Square between Michigan Avenue and Lenawee Street.
The construction will be split into four phases:
Phase 1 - Michigan Ave. to Allegan St. from May 9th - May 13th;
Phase 2 - Allegan St. to Washtenaw St. from May 16th - May 20th;
Phase 3 - Washtenaw St. to Kalamzoo Street from May 23rd - May 25th;
Phase 4 - Kalamazoo St. to Lenawee St. from May 26th - May 27th
It began Monday, May 9th and is expected to be complete by Friday, May 27th.
During the work, both north and southbound lanes will be closed in each project area.
