LANSING, Mich. — The Capital Area Humane Society is looking for information about a kitten that was found zip tied.
The Humane Society said the kitten was found by the Webster Farms Subdivision on Pleasant Grove across from Davis Park with his front and back legs bound by zip ties.
The kitten was found by a bystander and brought to the off site clinic. The zip ties were removed and the kitten was evaluated by humane society staff.
He is resting comfortably and receiving the care he needs.
Despite the trauma he experienced, the kitten is doing well, the CAHS staff said in a Facebook post.
The Capital Area Humane Society is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
If you have information, call the Capital Area Humane Society at 517-626-6060.
