March is National Reading month and Fox 47's commitment to supporting literacy continued this morning in a school right here in Lansing.
Fox 47's Community Affairs Coordinator, Kevin Brown, helped students celebrate reading month by joining Jennifer Baird's classroom at Colt Elementary earlier today.
Brown encouraged students to get excited about reading by reading them the story of Strega Nona.
Colt Elementary places a large focus on National Reading Month and aims to keep students engaged and interested as well as encourages Mid-Michigan to help fight illiteracy by reading together as a community of families, partners, and friends.
