Taking pictures of food, is becoming more common with about 69 percent of millennials taking of pictures of their food before eating it.
Businesses are competing and are trying to have food items that will make good Instagram posts.
The "Noda Brewing Company" in North Carolina says they sold a record number of Girl Scout Cookie beers partly because people were posting pictures of them on Instagram.
When it comes to food, people are looking for more than just something that tastes good.
"Not only do people want food that tastes good they also want food that looks good and makes them look good to their friends and networks," says Vince Dixon.
While almost 70 percent of millennials admit to taking pictures of their food, half of Generation X also takes pictures of food and then posts those pictures online.
