Constitution day event focuses on discussion regarding National Anthem Protests

Today is National Constitution Day.

WMU-Cooley Law School is honoring this day with an open forum discussion on athletes protesting the National Anthem.

The event highlights the First Amendment.

WMU-Cooley Associate Dean and Professor Michael C.H. McDaniel will lead the discussion on issues surrounding the discourse with protests, like kneeling, during the National Anthem.

This event is free and open to the public.

It's from noon - 1 p.m. at the WMU-Cooley Law School Lansing campus lobby on 300 S. Capitol Avenue.
