Posted

Starting Monday, road work will begin on Museum Drive. The southbound ramp from Michigan Ave. to Impression 5 Museum's north entrance will be under construction.

The project will be split up into three stages and is expected to last through Labor Day. Museums, parking lots and businesses will still be open during construction.

Also beginning Monday, Waverly Road will be reduced down to one lane in each direction between Lockmore and Winward Drive. Crews will be replacing concrete there. Work is expected to completed by August 26.

The Lansing Public Service Department advises motorists to expect delays and seek alternate routes.

The city of East Lansing will be making repairs to the Harrison Road bridge, over the Red Cedar River. During the project northbound and southbound Harrison Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction with traffic being shifted to the inside lane.

Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the opposite side of the bridge. The work is expected to be completed by August 19.
