Consumer's Energy continues work to get power restored

LANSING, Mich. — Consumer's Energy is working to get power restored to its last few thousand customers.

The official number of outages from the weekend storms is 26,000. Only a few of those outages are located in mid-Michigan.

Most are in Grand Rapids and Saginaw areas.

Consumer's Energy expects to have electricity back to everyone by Tuesday night.

DTE is in worse shape, with more than 200,000 outages in the Detroit and Flint Areas.

There is no word at this time on when DTE will have full restoration.
