GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Michigan State University College of Human Medicine officials announced the return of its non-competitive cycling event.
On Sept. 18, 2021 the MSU Gran Fondo makes its return. This non-competitive cycling event raised more than $1M for MSU skin cancer awareness, prevention and research over its seven events and had a turnout of more than 2,000 riders from 20 different states in 2019.
Registration details for MSU Gran Fondo 8 will be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, event organizers continue their work with MSU health and public health experts to ensure the health and safety of all involved with the even. More information can be found on their website.
“We are very pleased to welcome back our riders for another fun experience with friends and family,” said Aron Sousa, MD, interim dean, MSU College of Human Medicine. “This year we have the added draw of Art Prize downtown during Gran Fondo 8 and we look forward to sharing details soon.”
