Just after 8:30 p.m. police responded to the area near Village Green apartments and the Lansing Mall.
Witnesses say they heard gunshots.
Police say there's one person with non-life threatening injuries. After sustaining their injuries the individual ran to the mall, they were later taken to the hospital.
Police have cordoned off two areas. One near the Younkers and Best Buy entrances at the mall, and the other outside the Village Green apartments.
