LANSING, Mich. — Country artist Mitchell Tenpenny will headline a drive-in concert billed as the first of its kind in Michigan.
The Tailgates and Tunes Drive-In Live Country Music Concert will happen Aug. 29 at the Grande Golf Club’s driving range, 1579 Floyd Ave., Jackson.
The event is promoted as a “concert meets a drive-in movie.”
The gates open at 5 p.m. Opening acts Sadie Bass and Jason Cross will perform at 6:30 p.m., followed by Tenpenny at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $100 for vehicles with 5 or fewer seats. Vehicles with six or more seats are $150. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
