The Jackson woman who drove the wrong way and crashed head-on into a semi truck on I-94 last month was legally drunk.

Police say Brittany Hammond had a blood alcohol level of .168. That's just shy of the .17 "Super Drunk" status under Michigan law.

Hammond's passenger, Shaun Kelly, had a blood alcohol level of more than 3 times the legal limit.

Police believe they entered the highway at the Sargent Road exit during the early morning hours of February 22nd.

The truck driver they crashed into was not seriously hurt.
