LANSING, Mich. — These past few months our Lansing small businesses have faced challenges that they have met with both courage and heart! That is why Downtown Lansing Inc. invites you to experience downtown Lansing in a new way and lift up local businesses who need your support. Recent times have come with challenges local business owners have had to meet with courage and heart. In an attempt to welcome businesses back to with open arms by means of patronage, Downtown Lansing Inc. has revisited our annual celebration of the best our business district has to offer with a FRESH Taste of Downtown Lift Up Local Week!

Think of it as a ‘Choose your Own Small Business Adventure’.

You choose how to support the downtown local business community in a way that makes you feel comfortable - whether in-person, virtually, with curbside, or spaced out in a park - with plenty of social distancing and safety measures in place whether you dine, sip, paint, and paddle!

You can gain access to a wee's worth of specials supporting downtown businesses when you purchase a Downtown Digital Passport for just $10 at: https://liftuplocalpassport.eventbrite.com

The round out the week on Saturday with the Saturday Sipping Circuit (included in your digital passport - but adults only please on this one!), enjoy music, pop-up vendors along Washington Sq., a virtual scavenger hunt and end your Saturday with a Drive In Movie screening of "Do the Right Thing!" Tickets must be purchased in advance for movie screenings at:https://www.eventbrite.com/e/downtown-drive-in-movie-do-the-right-thing-tickets-111956739622
Thank you to our FRESH Taste - Lift Up Local Sponsors: Lake Trust Credit Union, Michigan Premier Events, Moonsail North, Loomis Law Firm, and Michigan Retailers Assocation. Special thanks to our Media partners as well including Fox 47 and Lansing Made

Please note: Masks are required for entry inside any downtown businesses. Safety Support volunteers will be onsite at Rotary Park, throughout downtown, in the alley and drive-in movie to ensure spaces are clean, social distancing rules and other safety measures are being followed. Please be respectful of our volunteers and lets all be safe & smart during the week - showing that there are ways we can keep everyone healthy while interacting with our community.
