EAST LANSING, Mich. — The minute the buzzer went off, students and fans flocked to campus to celebrate Michigan State's win over Duke.
Some were shocked.
"It's amazing, I honestly can't believe it. It's actually amazing. My second year here and we are in the Final Four," sophomore John Skroley said.
There were endless "go green, go white" chants echoing through Cedar Village Apartments.
"I definitely thought it was about to happen baby! Let' go!" junior Mithuun Sriniveasan said.
Some celebrated by burning things. But there was a common theme on campus after the Spartans advanced to their first Final Four Since 2015.
"Its awesome I've never experienced MSU like this, we were doing really good the year before I came in every sport and we've kind of had moments, but we're shining bright right now. It's completely different than anything I've had so far," junior Andrew Hamel said.
"Final Four, baby! Final Four!" Sriniveasan added.
