Former Michigan State University President Lou Anna Simon is expected to be formally arraigned on felony charges Monday.
Simon is accused of lying to the police regarding the Larry Nassar scandal. According to court documents, she failed to disclose what she knew about the case.
In all, she was charged with two felony counts of lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation and two misdemeanor counts of lying to a peace officer.
If convicted, Simon faces up to four years in prison.
