UPDATE: 11-year-old girl is found and safe

LANSING, Mich. — Lansing Police are reporting that the missing girl from over the weekend has been located and is safe.

Earlier on Monday they said she was a runaway, and that her parents believed she was with a friend and not in danger.

Late Sunday night, Lansing police reported they were looking for a missing child.

Vincentia Valentina Soto-Rangel is 11 years old. She was last seen in the 1200 block of West Barnes Avenue, near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, close to downtown Lansing.

Police say she was last seen wearing a gray shirt that says, "Strong like mom." She is also wearing black shorts, black high socks, and black Nike sandals.
