LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing office of Colliers International helped a landlord lease a 9,500-square-foot industrial building in Vevay Township to a new gymnastics center.
The building at 4194 Legion Dr. is located adjacent to U.S.-127. Colliers represented the landlord in its lease to GymTactics LLC, a gymnastics training facility for recreational and competitive gymnastics.
“GymTactics will make a great tenant for this building and Vevay Township is gaining another unique business that will serve its residents and the greater Lansing area,” said Julie O’Brien, a vice president at Colliers. “We are always excited when we can represent a client with a great space that can attract a new business to the area.”
The facility features brand new foam and spring floors, mats, loose foam pit and American Athletic, Inc. Competition uneven bars, balance beams and vault tables. There are also trampolines, a 40-foot Tumbl Trak and dedicated team and class equipment and private team lounges and locker rooms.
“We are glad to bring Gymtactics to the greater Lansing community and look forward to serving gymnasts and their families at our state-of-the-art facility,” said Jason Mortimer, owner of Gymtactics. “We are now open with safety protocols in place and encourage anyone who wants to get involved in gymnastics to visit our facility.”
GymTactics opened recently after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that gyms could reopen with safety measures in place. GymTactics will activate a facility that was previously unused in the building. It will offer classes for preschool and school aged children, drop-in nights and competitive team gymnastics.
