LANSING, Mich. — Ingham County Parks are happy to announce that the Hawk Island Snow Tubing Hill is opening for winter activities starting January 2nd! The Snow Hill offers sculpted snow tubing runs and a lift to the top!
New this year: snow tubing tickets for the Hawk Island hill will be available to purchase online in advance for designated session times. Due to limited capacity, all visitors are encouraged to purchase a timed-entry ticket online before arriving at the park. This is to help limit the number of people on the hill and to promote social distancing. To purchase tickets in advance, visit www.inghamcountyparks.org and click the link for Hawk Island Snow Tubing tickets. The cost is $10 per person or a group rate (4 or more people) of $8 per person.

The awesome staff at Hawk Island worked hard to create a nice base layer for the hill and although we have experienced unseasonably high temperatures and rain, staff was able to open two tubing lanes. All ages are welcome and no experience is needed for tubing, just grab your tube and enjoy the ride to the top of the hill on the magic carpet. You are going to have “snow much fun”!
