UPDATE:
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office reports that at 3 p.m. Monday, detectives located Ruth Smith in an apartment on the Southside of Lansing.
The office reports she was found unharmed, alone and had a phone. She was unable to explain why she made the original post claiming to be held against her will.
She was turned over to family, the office says.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Officer is searching for missing 35-year-old Ruth Smith.
On October 1, Smith posted to her Facebook page saying that she was being held against her will.
She has a history of bipolar disorder and delusions.
Smith's last known address was on Bishop Road in Delhi Township. She had been residing at Eve's House in Lansing, but is no longer staying there.
Smith is approximately 5'5" tall.
