The Department of Corrections has confirmed that an inmate died at the state prison in Ionia on Tuesday.
A spokesman says Dustin Szot of Muskegon died after officers used a stun gun to break up a fight between him and another inmate.
He says the stun gun was used after the inmates refused orders to stop fighting.
