Herbruck’s Poultry Ranch is collecting toys and gifts through Toys for Tots for Ionia County children who might otherwise go without this holiday season.

Toys for Tots helped provide toys and gifts to about 2,600 children in the county last year, a news release said Tuesday.

Herbruck’s is collecting donations through Dec. 15 from employees and the public, purchasing additional toys that will be donated and sponsoring families who will receive gifts.

“We’re proud to be helping local families this year to make sure children in our community have a Merry Christmas,” said Greg Herbruck, president at Herbruck’s. “Our employees have gone above and beyond this year, which has been a tough year for all of us. We are so thankful to be able to provide toys and sponsor families during these challenging times.”

Herbruck’s has collected 12 bins of toys so far, with the Hennery location leading in donation collections.

Anyone interested in donating can drop off toys at Herbruck’s main office at 6425 Grand River Ave. In Saranac.

Herbruck’s is also sponsoring a Salvation Army Angel Tree to provide gifts and needed items.
