Jackson College recognizes Constitution Day with a panel on voting rights

Jackson College is hosting a National Constitution Day event on Monday.

You can explore the history of voting rights with a panel discussion at 3 p.m. in Bert Walker Hall.

Jackson Mayor Dobies will be there as well as other VIPs.

The League of Women Voters will be onsite to register voters and copies of the Constitution will be offered to all who attend.

The pocket-size Constitution is free, along with refreshments at the event.

It's taking place in Room 145 on Jackson College's Central Campus.
