INGHAM CO., Mich. — One of Larry Nassar's former bosses at MSU is expected to be in an Ingham County courtroom on Friday afternoon.
Earlier this week, William Strampel filed a motion asking a judge to compel MSU to hand over emails he claims will help defend him against 'willful neglect of duty' charges.
An Ingham County judge is scheduled to hear arguments on that motion, and on a motion filed by the state Attorney General's office to charge Strampel with a new count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
He is already facing fourth degree CSC and felony misconduct in office charges.
A hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on April 12.
