Tuesday, Junior Achievement celebrated close to 100 years of service to mid-Michigan students at their annual Starmakers Breakfast.

This breakfast brought together influential people from across Michigan to explore what Junior Achievement does to help students learn and grow to understand and appreciate financial literacy, along with both soft and hard skills within the workforce.

As a part of the breakfast a video was shared that truly explained the first 100 years of Junior Achievementas well as what he future holds.

Keynote speakers at the event included: Mohamad Abukar of Keller Williams Realty, a Junior Achievement alumnus; Siso Dhaldhala of the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), a Junior Achievement volunteer; Lothar Konietzko, a social studies teacher at Lansing Everett High School who uses the Junior Achievement curriculum in his classroom; and John Madden of Integrated Audio Video, a Junior Achievement alumnus and past Junior Achievement board member.

All of these speakers were very passionate about their experiences in Junior Achievement and we hope that we caught this passion in the video shared with this article.
