A mom in Whitehall has come up with a way to solve all your winter-woes when it comes to your kids and their snow gear.

“Flurries, hurries, no worries,” is the slogan you can hear over and over in the Misch house.

It’s the catchy phrase Andrea Misch came up with for her all-in-one snowsuit invention: The Snow Otter Snowsuit

“My kids, they always lost their mittens and their snow gear,” Misch said.

Misch is a mother of four and entrepreneur who’s found a way to keep all of your kids snow gear together and save your sanity.

“It would take me a half an hour to get them ready to go outside and play; finding all their snow gear, getting them ready, sending them out the door, and the they’d be out for five minutes and come back in. I was like ‘This is not worth it.’”

The Snow Otter is a jacket, pants, and mittens all in one.

“We all lose our mittens, so I have them so they attach but they can be removed and also they can go up inside of the sleeve.”

The pants tuck into the back of the jacket for easy storage or can be removed altogether. The pockets are also magnet-lined for easy access.

Misch said that it’s designed so kids, like her 5-year-old son, Tanner, can bundle up on their own.

“I have a lot on my plate with all the kids and I have four kids, so if they can all get themselves ready at the same time, we have a lot more time to go out and play and a lot less stress for getting ready for school,” she said.

The pants are extendable by about 2 inches, meaning longer wear and a break for your wallet.

Misch said, “Not only are you saving with buying the unit as a whole, but it’ll also last you longer.”

This isn’t Misch’s first go as an entrepreneur; she’s been making and selling life-like baby dolls for years. Oprah Winfrey is one of her most notable clients and she’s been featured in O Magazine.

She hopes her latest endeavor can set an example for other busy moms, to never give up on an idea.

“Really just putting your heart into it and staying with it,” she said.

With winter on the way, Misch is eager to enjoy all of her hard work alongside her family.

She said, “Just to be able to see the product and see it working and being able to enjoy it with my own kids.”

The Snow Otter Snowsuit is available online for $179.99 and is available in sizes 2T – 6.
