LCC presents StarScapes, a student innovation and creativity showcase 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4 and Tuesday, Dec. 5 in the Michigan Room and Grand River Room in the Gannon Building on the Downtown Campus, 411 North Grand Avenue, Lansing, MI.
“Students at LCC engage in all sorts of creative, innovative and interesting work or research in their classes,” says Jeffrey Janowick, LCC history professor. “Starscapes offers a venue for students to share these endeavors with the larger LCC community. This event also enables students to share their work outside of the classroom and to highlight their work to a larger audience.” Janowick invites the community to, “Come and be inspired!”
Presentations will include physics demonstrations, musical performances, the display of student artwork, a poetry reading, and a variety of research and projects produced for LCC classes.
This is the sixth year for Starscapes, which takes place each semester. There will be 68 student projects involving some 150 students.
