Lansing School District Administrators say they're pleased with Thursday's meeting with parents at Everett High School.

It was held in response to Tuesday morning's brawl in the cafeteria.

Police responded and arrested four students.

There were rumors circulating among parents and students a gun may have been involved, but police say that's not the case.

Parents say they're glad they had a chance to have their voices heard.

"It's just a sad day for the Lansing community to see all those children brawling like that it, my heart was really saddened" said Marla Milton, a parent.

"I want to see them let people that these kids is going to respect and that they're going to listen to into the high schools to help them that want to volunteer" said Aaron Blackenburg.

The four students arrested have been charged with a misdemeanor of obstructing police.

Administrators believe the fight was part of a social media challenge.
