FRANKENMUTH, Mich. — Hundreds of classic car and motorcycle cruisers are anticipated at a MAGA Back the Blue event to be held September 13 on Main Street in Frankenmuth between noon and 4 p.m.
The classic car and biker cruise loop will travel between 1 and 4 p.m. on Main Street and will end at Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland (https://bronners.com/) which is located at 25 Christmas Lane in Frankenmuth.
“Michigan is the world’s auto capitol and we love to show off our classic cars and bikes”, said Debra Ell, event organizer and founder of the Mid-Michigan Trump Republicans. “But this event is special. Now often can we enjoy a fly over right in Frankenmuth! Also, we are asking all who drive in this event to show their support for our police, our country and our President, Donald J. Trump.”
The event begins with a private plane fly in to Frankenmuth Field located at 7935 S. Block Road. Weather permitting, the planes will perform a fly over of downtown Frankenmuth at 10 a.m. This portion of the event is labeled “Pilots for Trump and Back the Blue”. Pilots seeking information about the fly in should contact Dennis Weber at 949-233-4457.
Following the fly over, the Back the Blue event will start with a “Pit Stop” beginning at noon at Weiss Equipment (https://www.weissequipment.com/) which is located at 450 N. Main Street in Frankenmuth. This will feature speakers supporting our police and first responders.
“All cars and bikes—and even planes--- who participate in the event are encouraged to display signs and flags supporting our police,” said Ell. “We know that Michigan supports the USA and President Trump. So we ask everyone who attends to bring signs, flags and displays that support our country and Trump.”
Throughout the event, donations will be accepted for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and our local law enforcement K-9 units. Also on site will be the Trump Unity Bridge (https://www.robertcortis.com/)
“We have all seen television coverage car and biker events in Florida, Texas and elsewhere,” said Ell. “We are excited to bring our MAGA Back the Blue event to Frankenmuth. We ask that all participants follow safe practices at all times. Respect the guidelines offered to keep us all healthy. We ask that each vehicle participating, and each person watching, have decorations such as American or Trump flags, or any patriotic display. Let’s be loud to Back our Blue and to celebrate MAGA on September 13.”
